The Maxi looks set to be the must own dress of the summer.

What’s a Maxi dress? Ankle-length day dresses. They are back after falling off the fashion radar for 15 years.

The floor sweeping style was huge on the runways of New York. You can team your Maxi dress with footwear of choice sexy heels, Hunter wellies or flip-flops and it’ll surprise you with its versatility and its effortless.

But I wondered as a 5ft 11ins woman if was great news for everyone.

What about my girls who are 5ft 5ins?
